I have been waiting on my package to arrive and every delivery truck that passes I am like is it you?? is it???

so I will just have to be a patient little kitty cat and WAIT which I am very VERY bad at...its ok a learning experience ha.

so I was going into a lingerie shop to check out the remade styles from the 50's and the girl said we have nothing that looks like that here but" do you want to know a secret?'
I said why yes my lady I do" she told me to go to walmart? ( its a small town I live in I have looked all around walmart so I thought?)

so Off I went and then really looked...I was shocked like mega...so I know that playtex made lingerie in the 50's and they are almost exactly the same!
These are the only pics I found to show you and they are not the greatest pics but you get the idea.....I have one in black and one in white wah hoo....

I have been obsessivly watching mad men which is right up my alley. The clothing is to die for and not to mention my new crush on January Jones!! what a minx!!!!
she is so beautiful and her clothes are to die for!! another added bonus is that she smokes alot, as I have said before in my previous posts smoking=glamour especially in this case!

on another note...

I have been shopping on line like crazy to buy myself some fab vintage lingerie. Its so hard to find amazing pieces, I have a few key pieces but a girl can never have enough bras, panties and hot to trot garders and corsets!

I am going on a buying trip MOnday so I will be on the lookout for even more things this time around!

There is really nothing hotter than having lingerie under your clothing, its super hot and you feel so sexy!! and even if its not for a special someoone do it for yourself girls MEOW!! you will feel liberated.

I do always wear my posh nighties to bed. I have so many fab finds and they are tress ooo la la all I need now is my malibu pumps which I am still on the hunt for!!

I have also found these great Dior ads from the 60s, so awesome!! now if I can only find the lingerie to go with....

YES! fall I love you so, so much its all about layers and fabulous clothing.
I have so so so so many things to blog about and I will its all coming. This weekend I am finishing my ETSY shoot. So many good pieces I cannot wait to show all of you.

GOING GOING......GONE

Wow I cannot believe it! we are going back to Toronto...just for a visit and to get the rest of our things from la big city,
I have been the worst blogger ever and have not posted anything in so so so long..that's because the summer has been so epic and has been filled with so many wonderful adventures and great things that I have not had time to blog.

I have been singing in our band with my sister ( not by blood by love) Laura and I love her so much. We are called the DUSTY ROSES and we sing old country think Loretta Lynn mixed with the moldy peaches, we totally write our own songs and I have not been as happy as I have been in so long.....ITS AWESOME! she plays guitar and sings, I am learning guitar and I sing and also play tambourine well sort of HA
on another note...
we are off to Toronto me and my Baby and Laire are gone now for two weeks on Wednesday and are gone for two weeks...so exciting! Vadim and I are driving back across the country and I will be snapping fotos and blogging the whole entire time!
I am so excited! I will be doing a full blog when we return!

This is also a massive shopping vintage tour across canada for my store so I can really not wait at all!!! my focus this year for Fall and winter is ETSY ETSY ESTY AND BLOG BLOG BLOG! so many great things coming this year I can feel it <3

Smoking? YES PLEASE!!

did you know that I love smoking? now this is hilarious because I don't really smoke..but I really do love it A LOT...
so this is what I am going to blog about today smoking...
I watched so many old movies as a kid especially from the 40s and 50s and it was so glam to smoke, so glamorous in fancy clothes always with a smoke so pretty....

I really enjoy it after dinner especially a menthol think after dinner mint,

I like smoking after well...oh behave....

I love smoking with a glass of white wine...

I love smoking out of a vintage cigarette holder

and you know what else I love about smoking??? pictures of beautiful people smoking...

Salon Spring and Summer Collection

You have no idea how good it feels to just be at home tonight.. wow it feels awesome,
just getting to catch up on lots of work which is a good thing..wow so much going on and I feel like I am neglecting my blogs but I am a busy gal but my new goal is to blog lots and lots and then ta da better.

Fashion in Nelson

this weekend was crazy jam packed with things holy...so much went on and it was rather awesome!
this Past Friday I was in a fashion show at the Factory and I modeled for the lovley Lauren Christoffersen it was so much fun and she is super talented and amazing!! Her style is impeccable and really impressive this little lady will go far I know it, She will be starting her own line called LOu LOu so stayed tuned I will totally be blogging about her she's outstanding.

I modeled a sweet little 80's romper and it was so cute and fun!! we strutted to Janet Jackson "NASTY" down the run way and the clothing was inspired by Saved by the Bell leading Lady Kelly Kopowski!!

At the end we walked out together to Michael ( :( Micheal love you) and did a super awesome (rehearsed for like 10 mins) high five it was sensational and let me tell you our hands hurt mega after ha ha but it was totally worth it

so it was a really awesome time, so much fun and I am excited and cannot wait for more amazing fashion shows. I am really excited to do one and I think the plan is September with a few other leading ladies of Nelson so it will be a hot hot show.

We had an art show at the salon and it was so good, the art is outstanding he is so talented his name is Dylan Humphreys and the boy can paint!! his style is kind of Graf but sketches and a real awesome mix match of style, way ahead of nelson for sure,I am totally thrilled that we had him show here so amazing. Apres the art show
my two Favorite boys and the one love of my life Vadim and Brandon played a set at the spirit bar, they played under our band name "BAWDY HOUSE" and they totally killed the dance floor, man it was so good I wish that it did not end but thats just more inspiration to get this going and having the boys play more gigs and getting them booked all over. I cannot wait you have no idea so exciting. The band will be really awesome I can feel it, Ceilidh will be singing with us too she is also huge in my life as a friend and I am glad we will all be doing this together so fun.
I am also going to be taking a few singing lessons so I can rock the mic with a few songs, I am so excited its going to be really fabulous, big things are happening and I am so happy!!
and I get to choreograph dances I have been doing this since I was five so here we go LOL
And yesterday we went to kelowna to pick up the lovely Laura who is like my little sister she moved here to go to school so thats also awesome.

AND>>> huge vintage buy!! the new pieces are amazing and I cannot wait till they are up so I can blog about them..so on that note I am off, work stuff to do la la la the usual.....

Michael how I love thee

well I cannot believe it...I guess that I am still in shock , Michael is gone??? wow its so so so sad it truly is.
He has had such a huge influence in my life big time, I remember being little and watching his videos over and over and over again, especially billie jean that was my favorite when I was small. watching it over and over again, HE IS MY INSPIRATION FOR DANCE!!
I had the dance down pat and I swore that I was going to meet him and we would be able to dance it together. Not to mention renting moonwalker and watching it like 100 times and Thriller at halloween too amazing, a huge part in my childhood, My parents always worked nights and the tv was huge in our family so whenever I was alone Michael and I were there dancing d'awwww I am so sad :( the night he died I was so shaken I decided the best way to help me feel better was to dance, I cried and decided a dance party would be best suiting,
I got out my fisher price tape deck put in Micheal and danced and danced and danced in my livingroom It was magical. I will always also remember being a raver kid and dancing with my bestests K&B and having that feeling that we all get when we hear a track we love, especially on a dance floor with people who get what dancing is all about, its a soul thang...a body thang..its a spiritual thang...michael always brought that out to all of us it was special.
Poor MJ I could not imagine what he went through growing up, I mean think of ourselves and the way that we grew up now imagine if it was all filmed and you never ever left the public eye, I dont think I could have handled that, now imagine Micheal at the age of 11 it started and he was a sexy symbol at 13? how does that happen so I guess this goes with out saying that Hollywood has claimed yet another victim and its sad...
But he did alot of good in his life and he was an inspiration to so many and will never be forgotten. We all have our connection to Michael in our own way, I know I do..
I don't think I will ever forget him you cannot he is too influential, Micheal I will miss you so so much and I will always remember you and when a song of yours is played I will dance extra extra hard just for you

R A I N

what a day quite the rainy day...I love rain but it makes me think of sad things...Why is that?
I dunno I guess maybe sometimes when it rains you can reflect on things or just to be sad, but the rain also makes me feel happy especially when it drops on leaves and splashes in the windows, and the sound of rain and the smell its nice...

speaking of sad things..I miss my BEST FRIEND her name is Krista and she is my sister and my sensible half!! I have know her forever and we have been through so much together :)
I miss being close to her and talking ( we chatted for a long time last night and it made me so so so happy) I just miss her everyday and cannot wait till she is closer to me, she is the most beautiful soul I know and you just cannot even imagine how wonderful she is until you meet her...she is kind, so beautiful,strong, and a gem and I love my Krista Bear so so so much xxxoooo
and Bernie who is also my bestest( kristas hubby) he is the coolest cat I know you can always count on Bernie for amazing advice and of course a laugh and if you want to go to a weird party bdawg is your man!! he is my brother and I am so glad he is in my life, I could not imagine my life without Bernie and Krista ha ha I love them both so much, and when thier house sells in whistler they will be closer yay yay!! they are working on a beautiful house and redid the whole thing, Its amazing and just breathtaking... Oh ya hee hee....they are both tile setters and renovators( is that the right word??) and can make anything beautiful!!! they are the most talented people I know and I love them.
I have attached a pic of me and Krista but I dont have a good one of all of us so thats our misson to take more pics of us cool cats

La La La La

I cannot believe how fast time goes really man it goes super fast!!! my parents have already come and gone...and it just seems as soon as it is sunny summer just fly's by SUCKS...
well you know what actually don't be all winy like I am right now just enjoy it well its here!!

I went to la beach and its amazing!! had a fab day with laire and we worked on our tans were hoping to go back again on monday hopefully if it does not rain :)

anywho SO BUSY crazy busy its insane!! this weekend is full of lots of hot things going on!!
to start we have a art show featuring Lady V and she is wonderful check out some of her pics that I have posted of her art is so great, then just soooooooooooo busy ,working on blog and etsy and everything else which is good, I love being busy its a good thing...
