And then she was on a bus...

I just took a trip recently to see my bestest friends ever Krista and Bernie, I had such a fab time but man it just makes me relise how much I miss having them live so close to me :( I was a lucky gal when I lived in whistler thats for sure but thats ok they will be here soon!!
so my lovley trip started at 6 pm on a friday ,Since I am still 29 and do not have my licence ( lame I know I have my L though working on it workin on it!! )
I took the greyhound bus for 16 hrs there, and it was totally an adventure and the perfect oppurtunity to blog along the way...

My first stop was to rock creek bc, we stopped at a gas station and man o man how I love small town gas stations, full of canadiana and lots of wolf items which I adore

The first thing I noticed when I got here was this weird ass sign...is was for a hotel and it said greek saturday? there is no resturant so what does this mean? maybe the gas stations serves greek food? hum..looked odd but I like it...

And the wolf sweaters....LOOK AT THEM sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing!! My freind Jena loves wolves as much as I do and I was going to get these for us but the debit and visa machine was down SHITE!!! le sigh I really really wanted them bad....*tear*

Then there was this awesome kitschy deer candy dish I mean every home should have one dont you think!!

oh yes and this is Mischa she is my elephant from the 50s she is my travel companion she smells like cologne I made Vadim spray her with his scent..she actually really smells super strong which Is good cause noone will sit with me!! I mean I love a good random convo but I would like to catch a few z's so this is the first stop more tomro once the pics are ready!

so I was going into a lingerie shop to check out the remade styles from the 50's and the girl said we have nothing that looks like that here but" do you want to know a secret?'
I said why yes my lady I do" she told me to go to walmart? ( its a small town I live in I have looked all around walmart so I thought?)

so Off I went and then really looked...I was shocked like mega...so I know that playtex made lingerie in the 50's and they are almost exactly the same!

I have been obsessivly watching mad men which is right up my alley. The clothing is to die for and not to mention my new crush on January Jones!! what a minx!!!!
she is so beautiful and her clothes are to die for!! another added bonus is that she smokes alot, as I have said before in my previous posts smoking=glamour especially in this case!

I would have loved to have been a hot housewife...I mean come on you cook,clean, drink wine,smoke all day,make great meals for your fam, hang out with the kids and main thing WEAR CRINOLINES ALL THE TIME!! I think its fabulous some dont but thats thier opinion!




on another note...

I have been shopping on line like crazy to buy myself some fab vintage lingerie. Its so hard to find amazing pieces, I have a few key pieces but a girl can never have enough bras, panties and hot to trot garders and corsets!

I am going on a buying trip MOnday so I will be on the lookout for even more things this time around!

There is really nothing hotter than having lingerie under your clothing, its super hot and you feel so sexy!! and even if its not for a special someoone do it for yourself girls MEOW!! you will feel liberated.

I do always wear my posh nighties to bed. I have so many fab finds and they are tress ooo la la all I need now is my malibu pumps which I am still on the hunt for!!

I have also found these great Dior ads from the 60s, so awesome!! now if I can only find the lingerie to go with....

so kittens I am off we are done work today and I have a tarot card reading which I am mega excited about!!! deets to come

YES! fall I love you so, so much its all about layers and fabulous clothing.
I have so so so so many things to blog about and I will its all coming. This weekend I am finishing my ETSY shoot. So many good pieces I cannot wait to show all of you.

Wow I cannot believe it! we are going back to Toronto...just for a visit and to get the rest of our things from la big city,
I have been the worst blogger ever and have not posted anything in so so so long..that's because the summer has been so epic and has been filled with so many wonderful adventures and great things that I have not had time to blog.

I have been singing in our band with my sister ( not by blood by love) Laura and I love her so much. We are called the DUSTY ROSES and we sing old country think Loretta Lynn mixed with the moldy peaches, we totally write our own songs and I have not been as happy as I have been in so long.....ITS AWESOME! she plays guitar and sings, I am learning guitar and I sing and also play tambourine well sort of HA
on another note...
we are off to Toronto me and my Baby and Laire are gone now for two weeks on Wednesday and are gone for two weeks...so exciting! Vadim and I are driving back across the country and I will be snapping fotos and blogging the whole entire time!
I am so excited! I will be doing a full blog when we return!

This is also a massive shopping vintage tour across canada for my store so I can really not wait at all!!! my focus this year for Fall and winter is ETSY ETSY ESTY AND BLOG BLOG BLOG! so many great things coming this year I can feel it <3
