Fashion show here we go!!

so excited for our show!! I cannot wait and I really hope that it is a good turn out. Lauren and I have our outfits planned and our models are ready and its going to be hot hot hot!!

you cannot go wrong with 90s glam now can you! I dont think so, so this weekend will be getting everything all ready and making lists and getting prepared which is one of my favorite things to do lol lol...anywho check out the poster and if you live in Nelson please come to the spirit bar its going to be a goood time!!

Take me to the Carnivale

wow. I dont know if any of you are obssessed with carnivals from the 30s like I am?? but if you are then please do yourself a favor and watch the HBO series Carnivale!! such a good show..they only made two seasons but was really great. The clothing the hair, good and evilness it had to it right up my alley.

I have always been in love with Carnivale's from the 30s even since I was really little. I remember being in antique shops and they had all the old chalkware that you used to win from the games back then. I was always super fascinated with and I always will be.

Everything was super creepy from that time era why is that? I love creepy especially dolls and chalkware and old creppy posters...I do not like clowns though at all whatsoever... SANS CLOWNS they are really not cool at all. Which is weird as I had a collection of cina dolls from the 80s that had tears and amazing makeup and really fab outfits...when I was 5 years old ( ps I only have one now *tear*) I kept them on a shelf above me..but they were more like jesters not clowns...clowns are just creepy period..especially the sad ones EW.

its totally rainy here right now as I look out my window...I am bored and trying to figure out how to pimp my blog!! if anyone out there who reads this knows how or anyone SOS. please help little ol MOI xoxoxo

La new...things are happenin!

whoa.busy much YES INDEED!! I have been working on lots of new things which I am super happy about. I am starting to sell my vintage clothing at the market here in Nelson on Saturdays with one of my best Laire.
we are called StoveTop Betty's Vintage Wares, Laire is selling vintage housewares and flowers and upcycled furniture
and moi I am selling vintage clothing and all the fun accessories! so we are pretty happy about that. So thats one new thing.....

The other is that I am having another fashion show at the Sprit bar in Nelson on the 24th of June which is awesome..I will be pairing up with Miss Lauren her line is LOO LOO and she is fab and our stuff goes really well together and its going to be a blast...we are doing a 90s ispired glam night so tons of floral and tons of puffy dresses and lots of great things so I hope that I will see y'all there.

and to top that off I am focusing all of my time on my shop and blogging and just working really hard so there is lots going on and good things coming IT JUST ALL TAKES TIME!!

New Table Love

OMG how in love am I???? well I have been on the look out for the perfect table for my kitchen and it has been FOUND!! Arorite green table top with additional leaf, chrome and white piping on the chairs!!! la la la whooo super excited about it and I cannot wait to get her home and put her in the kitchen...I am so happy and my kitschy kitchen is now a happy family.
Almost half way to achiving my vintage housewifey dreams ahhhh success.....

Someone get this girl some fringe ...

well I just had the cutest girl come in the shop today..her name is Allanah. She had the cutest floral dress on with adorable boots, she also just got a fab hair cut ala Vadim and she topped it all off when those ray bans went on purdy purdy gal!!

anywho she was mentioning that she read my blog...then I started thinking I have not written anything is so long...its been forever wow...so I decided I have been thinking about fringe all day so why not write!

So can you have too much fringe? can you? I dont think you can I really do not think that you cannot have enough!! I myself own so so much of it and I aodre it.
Fringe sweater, fringe jacket, fringe scarves,fringe dress shirt...you get the picture BUT do you know whats missing...FRINGE BOOTS!
oh me oh my oh I need a pair I do not have any and need some badly...its just finding a size 10..I look all the time on ETSY and every thrift shop all over the place but alas never find them ...but I am on the look out and always am...
I have attached a photo of ones I would like and also a pic of this super cute gal with fringe boots she is really adorable and I dig those boots....
